Tea Inspires...

"Meanwhile, let us have a sip of tea. The afternoon glow is brightening the bamboos, the fountains are bubbling with delight, the soughing of the pines is heard in our kettle. Let us dream of evanescence, and linger in the beautiful foolishness of things."

Okakura Kakuzo 'The Book of Tea'

Ceylon

— a classical black tea from Sri Lanka, "a resplendent land" as translated from the local Sinhalese language. A combination of a mild climate and a red soil creates perfect conditions for tea plantations. It is a full-bodied tea with rich taste and citrus crisp and bold aroma. Perfect as your morning cup of tea.

Preparation and serving:

Pour 200 ml of boiling water over 1 rounded teaspoon of tea. Let it brew for four-five minutes, sieve and add sugar if you like. Try also with a splash of milk!
